Motiv Apex Jackal

Motiv

The Motiv Apex Jackal is an asymmetrical pearl bowling ball from Motiv, released in January 2026. It has the Propulsion MXV Pearl coverstock and the Apex Predator weight block, finished at 5000 Grit LSS out of the box. At 15 lb its RG is 2.52, with a differential of 0.055 and a PSA of 0.02.

Among the 194 balls here with a 15 lb version, its RG is medium, and its differential is high, for more flare. Motiv rates it 73 for length, 87 for backend and 78 for hook, out of 100: it starts to hook late, turns sharply at the breakpoint and hooks strongly overall, with at least 7 inches of flare potential. Motiv's ball guide puts it on heavy oil, with an angular motion.
