Motiv Hydra

Motiv · Discontinued

The Motiv Hydra is a symmetrical pearl bowling ball from Motiv. It has the Hexion LFP Cover Stock coverstock and the Halogen weight block, finished at 5000 Grit LSP out of the box. At 15 lb its RG is 2.55, with a differential of 0.037. It's been discontinued.

Among the 194 balls here with a 15 lb version, its RG is medium, and its differential is low, for less flare and a steadier motion. Motiv rates it 80 for length, 78 for backend and 42 for hook, out of 100: it starts to hook late, turns sharply at the breakpoint and hooks moderately overall, with at least 4 inches of flare potential.
