The Motiv Carbide Tank is a symmetrical solid bowling ball from Motiv, released in November 2022. It has the Frixion M4 Solid MCP coverstock and the Gear weight block, finished at 1000 Grit LSS out of the box. At 15 lb its RG is 2.48, with a differential of 0.034. It's been discontinued.

Among the 194 balls here with a 15 lb version, its RG is medium, and its differential is low, for less flare and a steadier motion. Motiv rates it 33 for length, 33 for backend and 55 for hook, out of 100: it starts to hook early, turns smoothly at the breakpoint and hooks moderately overall, with at least 3 inches of flare potential.
