Motiv Blue Tank

Motiv · Discontinued

The Motiv Blue Tank is a symmetrical pearl bowling ball from Motiv, released in January 2023. It has the Frixion M3 Pearl MCP coverstock and the Halogen V2 weight block, finished at 1000 Grit LSS out of the box. At 15 lb its RG is 2.59, with a differential of 0.023. It's been discontinued.

Among the 194 balls here with a 15 lb version, its RG is high, so it gets down the lane before it revs up, and its differential is low, for less flare and a steadier motion. Motiv rates it 38 for length, 40 for backend and 50 for hook, out of 100: it starts to hook mid-lane, turns moderately at the breakpoint and hooks moderately overall, with at least 2 inches of flare potential.
