Motiv Combat Tank

Motiv · Discontinued

The Motiv Combat Tank is a symmetrical hybrid bowling ball from Motiv, released in January 2018. It has the Alchemy Hybrid coverstock and the Recon weight block, finished at 3000 Grit LSS out of the box. At 15 lb its RG is 2.59, with a differential of 0.025. It's been discontinued.

Among the 194 balls here with a 15 lb version, its RG is high, so it gets down the lane before it revs up, and its differential is low, for less flare and a steadier motion. Motiv rates it 53 for length, 47 for backend and 25 for hook, out of 100: it starts to hook mid-lane, turns moderately at the breakpoint and hooks lightly overall, with at least 2 inches of flare potential.
