Motiv Purple Tank

Motiv · Discontinued

The Motiv Purple Tank is a symmetrical solid bowling ball from Motiv, released in May 2022. It has the Purple Solid Urethane coverstock and the Flux weight block, finished at 1000 Grit LSS out of the box. At 15 lb its RG is 2.57, with a differential of 0.015. It's been discontinued.

Among the 194 balls here with a 15 lb version, its RG is high, so it gets down the lane before it revs up, and its differential is low, for less flare and a steadier motion. Motiv rates it 40 for length, 47 for backend and 31 for hook, out of 100: it starts to hook mid-lane, turns moderately at the breakpoint and hooks lightly overall, with at least 2 inches of flare potential.
