Motiv Recon RX1 Silver

Motiv · Discontinued

The Motiv Recon RX1 Silver is a symmetrical bowling ball from Motiv. It has the MOTIVator-X coverstock and the Recon weight block, finished at 5500 Grit Laser Scan Polished out of the box. At 15 lb its RG is 2.59, with a differential of 0.025. It's been discontinued.

Among the 194 balls here with a 15 lb version, its RG is high, so it gets down the lane before it revs up, and its differential is low, for less flare and a steadier motion. Motiv rates it 87 for length, 53 for backend and 30 for hook, out of 100: it starts to hook late, turns moderately at the breakpoint and hooks lightly overall, with at least 2 inches of flare potential.
