Motiv · Discontinued
The Motiv Tank Yellowjacket is a symmetrical bowling ball from Motiv, released in July 2023. It has the Frixion M5 Microcell Polymer coverstock and the Flux weight block, finished at 1000 Grit LSS out of the box. At 15 lb its RG is 2.57, with a differential of 0.015. It's been discontinued.
Among the 194 balls here with a 15 lb version, its RG is high, so it gets down the lane before it revs up, and its differential is low, for less flare and a steadier motion. Motiv rates it 33 for length, 33 for backend and 41 for hook, out of 100: it starts to hook early, turns smoothly at the breakpoint and hooks moderately overall, with at least 2 inches of flare potential.
